Ginger turmeric Infusion

Ginger Turmeric Infusion with baked custard and cinnamon stewed fruit.

Warming and anti inflammatory, this is a soothing and refreshing drink.


Ingredients

  • 4 - 5 inch Chunk of fresh ginger.

  • 3 - 4 inch chunk of fresh turmeric.

  • 2 cinnamon quills

  • 2 litres/8cups of water.


Wash and chop the turmeric and ginger into 1 cm small chunks and pop in a big pot with cinnamon quills and the water and bring to the boil.

Turn off the heat and let it steep for 10-20 mins.

Strain and serve warm with honey to taste.

Store in glass jars in the fridge for up to five days.

Warm up a cup anytime you you want it.
